The Victoria Amateur Radio Club meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month (except in Dec. & June) at 7:00 pm. at the Detar Main Campus Conference Room, located at 604 E San Antonio St and N Cameron St. License exams may soon be available at 6:00 pm prior to the General Meetings.
It is located in the South East corner of the complex in the Detar MEDI CENTER. You can get there off of US-59 Business by turning north on N Cameron St. and go two blocks north to E San Antonio St. The MEDI CENTER is at the north west corner of the intersection on your left. Parking is available.

A few members occasionally meet in the Victoria Mall near Chick Fil-A around 6:00 pm prior to the meeting.

We host a VARC Monday Night Net every Monday at 8:00 p.m. combined with the Coleto Creek Amateur Radio Club.

This net meets every Monday night Net at 8:00 PM, on the
W5DSC/R190 145.190 MHz (analog) repeater with the standard VHF, negative offset and PL Tone of 103.5 HZ, or by EchoLink "W5DSC-R" Node 857952.

If that frequency's repeater is not available or operable, the backup linked frequencies are: Analog repeater - 443.350 (W5DSC/R350), or Digital repeater - 145.130 (W5DSC/R130.

All licensed amateur radio operators are welcomed and encouraged to check in and participate!
